I’d say the biggest compliment is when someone you admire wants to collaborate with you. Naturally I was quite flattered when my friend Jonathan asked me to take some portraits of him. He is a photographer in a league of his own who makes beautifully haunting images, and he does it all the old fashioned way, with film in his camera and fibre based paper in the darkroom. Recently his work has been featured in galleries in France and Italy, and he is currently in the process of publishing a book. Learn more about Jonathan on his website and be sure to catch an upcoming feature article on him in the Sunday issue of The Edmonton Journal.
